Eraserhead

Head Spaces

Doreen Dubreuil

Sculpture / Assemblage

Eraserhead explores identity as something constructed, overwritten, and constantly revised. By pairing a playful, almost toy-like color palette with a confrontational profile, Eraserhead balances humor and unease. The figure feels futuristic and retro at once, echoing anxieties about conformity and self-authorship. Ultimately, the sculpture invites viewers to consider what is lost, what is protected, and what is reinvented when the self is endlessly edited, decorated, and exposed.
